Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, what we've built, known limitations, and how to report a barrier.
Executive Summary
Serious investors and entrepreneurs come from every background, including people who use assistive technology to browse the web. This statement describes our commitment to accessibility, where we are today, and how to reach us if something on the Platform is difficult for you to use.
1. Our Commitment
We aim for the Platform to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, a widely recognized international standard for digital accessibility. This is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time certification, and we treat accessibility as a standing engineering and design requirement, not an afterthought.
2. What We've Built
The Platform is designed with: keyboard-navigable interfaces; visible focus states for interactive elements; color palettes checked for sufficient contrast in both light and dark themes; semantic HTML structure to support screen readers; and full bilingual support with correct right-to-left layout for Arabic.
Why this matters: accessibility and internationalization overlap more than people expect. Building genuine Arabic RTL support from the ground up, rather than as an afterthought, forced the same discipline that real accessibility work requires — nothing assumed, everything verified.
3. Known Limitations
Accessibility is a continuous effort. Some areas of the Platform may not yet fully meet our own standard, particularly in newer or more complex features. We do not consider this page a claim of perfection — it is a commitment to keep improving, and to respond quickly when a gap is reported.
4. Requesting an Alternative Format or Reporting a Barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information in an alternative format, contact accessibility@wearetogether.example. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and to provide a substantive response, including a remediation timeline where applicable, within 15 business days.
5. Third-Party Content
Where the Platform links to or embeds third-party content (for example, a Partner's own website), that content is outside our direct control and may not meet the same accessibility standard. We select Partners with reasonable care but cannot guarantee the accessibility of external sites.
6. Contact
Accessibility questions, feedback, or barrier reports may be directed to accessibility@wearetogether.example.
