Terms & Conditions
The binding agreement governing your use of WE ARE TOGETHER — what the Platform is, what we commit to, and your responsibilities as a User or Investor.
Executive Summary
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of WE ARE TOGETHER, an investment intelligence platform connecting investors, entrepreneurs, and institutional partners with verified opportunities across the Kingdom of Morocco. In plain terms: use the Platform in good faith, keep the information you give us accurate, and understand that WE ARE TOGETHER provides intelligence and facilitation — not financial advice or brokerage. The full detail follows below, and our team is always reachable at legal@wearetogether.example if anything is unclear.
1. Introduction and Acceptance of These Terms
Welcome to WE ARE TOGETHER. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and WE ARE TOGETHER ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of wearetogether.example, its subdomains, mobile-optimized views, and all associated services (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services"). By creating an account, submitting a form, requesting access, booking a consultation, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Risk Disclosure, and any other policy referenced herein (collectively, the "Trust Center Policies"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Platform.
2. About WE ARE TOGETHER
WE ARE TOGETHER is an investment intelligence and facilitation platform dedicated to Morocco. We aggregate verified investment opportunities, sector research, regulatory context, and ecosystem directories (banks, legal advisors, accountants, insurers, and real estate partners), and we connect qualified investors with vetted projects, consultants, and institutional partners. WE ARE TOGETHER is the commercial brand of its operating company, incorporated under the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, with its registered office in Casablanca. Full corporate registration details — including our Commercial Registry (RC) and Common Enterprise Identifier (ICE) numbers — are published in our Legal Notice.
Why this matters: transparency about who we are and what we do is the foundation of every relationship on this Platform. We disclose our corporate identity, our regulatory posture, and the limits of our role precisely so that serious investors can evaluate us the same way we ask them to evaluate any opportunity — on the facts.
3. Definitions
"Account" means the registered profile you create to access authenticated features of the Platform. "Content" means all text, data, research, opportunity listings, reports, and materials made available through the Platform. "Investor" means a User who accesses the Platform to research, evaluate, or express interest in an Opportunity. "Opportunity" means any investment project, venture, or asset presented on the Platform for informational and facilitation purposes. "Partner" means a bank, legal, accounting, insurance, real estate, or advisory entity listed in our ecosystem directories. "User," "you," or "your" means any person or entity accessing or using the Platform, whether or not registered.
4. Scope of Services
The Platform provides: (a) curated research and editorial content about investing in Morocco (the "Knowledge Center"); (b) a directory of investment opportunities across sectors and regions; (c) tools to express interest in an Opportunity, request access to data rooms, or submit a project for consideration; (d) the ability to book advisory consultations with our team or affiliated experts; and (e) directories of licensed third-party professionals (banks, legal, accounting, insurance, and real estate partners) operating in Morocco.
What the Platform is not
WE ARE TOGETHER is an investment intelligence and facilitation platform. It is not a licensed investment advisor, broker-dealer, portfolio manager, or bank, and nothing on the Platform constitutes a personalized investment recommendation, solicitation, or offer to sell any security or financial instrument. See our Risk Disclosure for full detail. Every investment decision, however small, should be made only after your own independent due diligence and, where appropriate, advice from a licensed professional of your choosing.
5. Eligibility and Account Registration
To register an Account, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. If you register on behalf of an institution, you represent that you are duly authorized to bind that institution to these Terms. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your Account.
6. User Responsibilities
As a condition of using the Platform, you agree to: 1. Provide truthful, accurate information in every form, request, or submission you make. 2. Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. 3. Respect the confidentiality of any non-public information shared with you through a data room, consultation, or Investor Confidentiality undertaking. 4. Refrain from reverse-engineering, scraping, or attempting to extract the Platform's underlying data at scale without our prior written consent. 5. Notify us promptly at legal@wearetogether.example if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your Account or any security vulnerability.
7. Company Responsibilities and Commitments
We commit to: (a) presenting Opportunity and directory information in good faith and, where reasonably practicable, verifying it against primary sources before publication; (b) protecting the personal data you share with us in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Moroccan law; (c) disclosing clearly when content is sponsored, promotional, or affiliated; and (d) maintaining reasonable technical and organizational security measures as described in our Security Center.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All Platform Content — including but not limited to research, editorial articles, design, logos, the WE ARE TOGETHER name and mark, and underlying software — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected under Moroccan and international intellectual property law. You may view, download, and share individual pages for personal, non-commercial reference, provided you retain all copyright and attribution notices. Any other reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use requires our prior written consent. See our Copyright & Intellectual Property policy for full detail, including our process for reporting infringement.
9. Confidentiality
Where the Platform grants you access to a data room, financial model, or other non-public materials relating to an Opportunity, you agree to treat that material as confidential and to use it solely to evaluate your potential interest, unless the discloser has agreed otherwise in writing. Our full confidentiality commitments to Investors are set out in our Investor Confidentiality Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.
10. Fees
Access to the Knowledge Center, the Opportunities directory, and the Request Access workflow is currently provided free of charge. Certain advisory consultations or bespoke engagements may be subject to separate, clearly disclosed fee arrangements agreed in writing before any service is rendered. We will never charge a fee that has not been disclosed to you in advance.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may reference or link to third-party websites, Partners, or service providers (including banks, legal advisors, and accountants listed in our directories). We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, policies, or conduct. Your dealings with any third party referenced on the Platform are solely between you and that party, and we encourage you to review their own terms before engaging with them.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Moroccan law, WE ARE TOGETHER and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or investment opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform — including any decision to invest in, or refrain from investing in, any Opportunity presented on the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory Moroccan law, including liability for fraud or gross negligence.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold WE ARE TOGETHER harmless from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your Account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful conduct, or posed a risk to other Users or the integrity of the Platform. You may close your Account at any time by contacting support@wearetogether.example; certain records may be retained thereafter as described in our Privacy Policy for legal, security, or accounting purposes.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to the arbitration option below, the courts of Casablanca, Morocco — and in particular the Commercial Court of Casablanca (Tribunal de Commerce de Casablanca) — shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not resolved amicably or by arbitration.
16. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, we ask that you first raise any concern with us in writing at legal@wearetogether.example so that we may attempt to resolve it amicably within 30 calendar days. For disputes involving an international investor, institutional partner, or cross-border counterparty, either party may elect to refer the dispute to binding arbitration administered by the Casablanca International Mediation and Arbitration Centre (CIMAC), under its rules then in force. The seat of arbitration shall be Casablanca, Morocco; the language of arbitration shall be English or French, at the election of the claimant; and the tribunal shall consist of a single arbitrator unless the parties agree otherwise.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, applicable law, or operating practice. We will post the revised Terms with an updated "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, provide reasonable advance notice through the Platform or by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Platform after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Contact Information
Questions about these Terms may be directed to legal@wearetogether.example. Full corporate and regulatory contact details are available in our Contact & Legal Information page and our Legal Notice.
Is WE ARE TOGETHER a licensed financial institution?
No. WE ARE TOGETHER is an investment intelligence and facilitation platform — we curate research, verify opportunity information where practicable, and connect investors with vetted projects and licensed professionals. We are not a bank, broker-dealer, or licensed investment advisor, and we do not manage funds on your behalf. See our Risk Disclosure for detail.
What happens to my data if I stop using the Platform?
You may close your Account at any time. We retain only what is necessary for legal, tax, or security purposes, for the periods described in our Privacy Policy, and delete or anonymize the rest.
Can I trust the information shared about an investment opportunity?
We take reasonable, documented steps to verify opportunity information against primary sources before publication, and we clearly label any sponsored or promotional content. That said, the Platform is not a substitute for your own due diligence — always verify material facts independently before committing capital.
What if I submit a project and later want it removed?
You may request removal or amendment of a Project Submission at any time by contacting us at legal@wearetogether.example. See our Request Access Terms for the specific commitments that apply to submitted projects.
Who do I contact if I have a complaint?
Write to complaints@wearetogether.example. Our full complaint-handling process, including expected response times, is set out in our Complaint Resolution Policy.
