Copyright & Intellectual Property

Who owns what on the Platform, how you may use our Content, and how to report suspected infringement.

Effective: 30 July 2026Last updated: 30 July 2026

Executive Summary

This policy explains who owns what on WE ARE TOGETHER, what you may do with our Content, and — just as importantly — how we handle a report if you believe your own intellectual property has been used without authorization. Respecting IP is a two-way commitment for us, not a one-way restriction.

1. Purpose and Scope

This policy governs intellectual property rights in Content published on the Platform, and applies to all Users, Partners, and project sponsors who submit material for consideration or publication.

2. Our Ownership

The WE ARE TOGETHER name, logo, visual identity, editorial research, Knowledge Center articles, proprietary data compilations, and underlying software are owned by or licensed to us and protected under Moroccan intellectual property law (Law No. 2-00 on Copyright and Related Rights) and applicable international conventions.

3. Permitted Use

You may view, download, and share individual pages of the Platform for personal, non-commercial reference, provided you retain all copyright and attribution notices and do not modify the Content. Any other use — including reproduction in a commercial publication, redistribution at scale, or incorporation into another product or service — requires our prior written consent. Requests may be sent to legal@wearetogether.example.

4. Content You Submit to Us

When you submit material for a Project Submission, a Consultation, or an Opportunity listing, you retain ownership of that material. You grant WE ARE TOGETHER a limited, non-exclusive license to review, store, and — only with your consent — present a summary of it to prospective Investors, solely for the purpose of facilitating the engagement you have requested. We do not claim ownership of your business plans, financial models, or proprietary materials.

Why this matters: submitting a project should never feel like giving away ownership of your idea. We only use what you submit to do exactly what you asked us to do — connect you with the right investors — and nothing beyond that.

5. Third-Party and User-Generated Content

Certain Content may originate from Partners or third-party sources and remains the property of its original owner, used under license or with permission. We attribute third-party Content where required to do so.

6. Reporting Suspected Infringement

If you believe Content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, send a written notice to legal@wearetogether.example identifying: (a) the work you claim is infringed; (b) the specific Content on the Platform you believe infringes it; (c) your contact details; and (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We review every notice and, where warranted, remove or disable access to the Content promptly.

7. Trademarks

"WE ARE TOGETHER" and associated logos are trademarks of our operating company. No license to use these marks is granted by your use of the Platform, except as expressly authorized in writing.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy, or requests to use our Content, may be directed to legal@wearetogether.example.
