Investor Confidentiality Policy
How we protect your identity and investment interests, and your obligations regarding confidential material shared about an Opportunity.
Executive Summary
Confidentiality is often the deciding factor in whether an institutional investor engages with a platform at all. This policy sets out, specifically, how WE ARE TOGETHER protects your identity, your investment interests, and any non-public material you access or share through the Platform — and what happens if you and a project sponsor need a mutual confidentiality undertaking of your own.
1. Purpose and Scope
This Investor Confidentiality Policy applies to all Investors using the Platform to research, evaluate, or express interest in an Opportunity, and supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. It governs both (a) the confidentiality of your own identity and activity, and (b) your obligations regarding confidential material shared with you about an Opportunity.
2. Confidentiality of Your Identity and Activity
We do not disclose your identity to a project sponsor, Partner, or any third party unless and until you take a clear action requesting to be connected (for example, expressing interest in an Opportunity, requesting access to a data room, or booking a Consultation with a specific Partner). Your browsing activity, saved Opportunities, and research interests are never shared with sponsors or Partners as a matter of course.
Why this matters: institutional investors frequently research opportunities long before they are ready to be identified. We built this Platform so you can do exactly that — explore freely, in confidence, and reveal your interest only when you choose to.
3. Confidentiality of Data Room and Non-Public Materials
When we grant you access to a data room, financial model, or other non-public material relating to an Opportunity, you agree to: (a) use it solely to evaluate your potential interest in that specific Opportunity; (b) not disclose it to any third party without the discloser's written consent, except to your own professional advisors under a duty of confidentiality; and (c) return or destroy it upon request if you decide not to proceed, unless retention is required by law.
4. Mutual Non-Disclosure Undertakings
For Opportunities involving particularly sensitive commercial information, we may facilitate a specific mutual non-disclosure agreement between you and the project sponsor before granting deeper access. This is arranged on a case-by-case basis and does not replace the general confidentiality obligations in Section 3.
5. Internal Access Controls
Access to Investor identity and activity data within our own team is limited to personnel who need it to perform their role (for example, facilitating an introduction you have requested). Internal access is logged, consistent with the technical safeguards described in our Security Center.
6. Exceptions
We may disclose information otherwise protected under this policy where required by law, by a competent Moroccan court or regulator, or to prevent fraud or harm to you, another User, or the Platform — and, where legally permitted, we will notify you before doing so.
7. Duration
Our confidentiality commitments to you continue after you close your Account, for as long as we retain the underlying information, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Contact
Questions about this policy, or requests for a bespoke non-disclosure arrangement, may be directed to legal@wearetogether.example.
Will a project sponsor know I looked at their Opportunity?
No. Viewing, researching, or saving an Opportunity is private to you. We only disclose your identity to a sponsor once you take a clear action asking to be connected.
