Newsletter & Marketing Consent
What you're consenting to when you subscribe to our Newsletter, and how to withdraw consent at any time.
Executive Summary
We send the WE ARE TOGETHER Newsletter and occasional market updates only to people who have actively asked for them, and unsubscribing takes one click, every time. This policy explains what you're consenting to and how to withdraw that consent whenever you choose.
1. Purpose and Scope
This policy governs marketing communications sent by WE ARE TOGETHER, including our Newsletter, sector research digests, and updates about new Opportunities matching your stated interests. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. What You're Consenting To
By subscribing to the Newsletter or opting in to marketing communications, you consent to receive periodic emails from us containing sector research, market updates, Platform news, and — where relevant to your stated interests — notifications about new Opportunities. We do not send marketing communications to Users who have not opted in.
3. Frequency
We aim to send the Newsletter no more than weekly, and targeted Opportunity notifications only where they match interests you have expressed on the Platform.
4. How to Withdraw Consent
Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You may also update your communication preferences at any time from your Account settings, or by contacting privacy@wearetogether.example. Withdrawing consent does not affect transactional communications necessary to operate your Account (for example, a Consultation confirmation) — see our Privacy Policy, Section 5.
Why this matters: transactional emails keep your Account and Consultations running; marketing emails are entirely optional. We keep the two clearly separate so that unsubscribing from one never affects the other.
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain your marketing consent record until you withdraw it, plus 3 years thereafter, consistent with our Privacy Policy, Section 9, so that we can demonstrate lawful basis for past communications if ever required to do so.
